We recommend this therapy as a way to help promote healing and overall better health. The body has an incredible ability to heal itself so this therapy can sometimes be used to encourage and promote that. Typically, it is in conjunction with other treatments or in conjunction with the patient taking medication.

For example, it may help to lower a patient\’s blood pressure in combination with taking blood pressure medication. Sometimes hypnotherapy alone can be effective but that really depends on the individual patient.

CAN THE THERAPY HELP ME TO LOSE WEIGHT?

This treatment is often effective for changing the way our patients approach food and eating in general. In that manner, it can help patients to feel full faster or to eat less and therefore lose weight. While therapy is not a magic treatment for people struggling with obesity, it is important to try anything that can change their relationship with food since that is what will lead to results.

CAN HYPNOTHERAPY HELP ME TO STOP SMOKING?

This therapy has been incredibly effective for people who are trying to break the habit of smoking cigarettes. Patients who are actively trying to quit and looking for support may find that this is all they need to stick with their plan. It can sometimes be more effective than something like using gum or patches.
