Alyssa Raiche-Salek
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Clinical Hypnotherapist
Alyssa Raiche-Salek, MA, LCPC, NCC, CHT
The ups and downs are a normal part of the human experience. Having a support person on the life path has the ability to transform a difficult life event into one of learning, growth, and healing.
Alyssa supports clients working through depression, anxiety, complex trauma, relationship issues, self esteem issues, religious/spiritual dilemmas, infertility, women’s issues, and more. She views each client as a unique individual with a story to share. Alyssa’s primary goal is to ensure her clients feel listened to and validated.
She looks at clients through a lens of how past experiences impact present day circumstances. Alyssa takes a deep dive into exploring clients’ pasts with the goal of helping clients to gain insights that can assist them with their present day struggles. She is a goal oriented therapist who is committed to helping clients become better versions of themselves.
Alyssa uses a variety of interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, acceptance and commitment therapy techniques, identifying and expressing feelings, dialectical behavior therapy techniques, Gottman informed techniques, empowerment, incorporation of religious and spiritual beliefs when applicable, hypnotherapy, and brainspotting.
Brainspotting is a therapy that allows for deeper trauma processing using a brain body approach. The beauty of brainspotting is that it increases nervous system regulation, which can allow clients to release their issues faster than traditional talk therapy approaches.
Alyssa views counseling as a journey in which client and counselor form a partnership to help initiate and maintain healing, positive change, empowerment, and growth. She provides each client with a comfortable, safe, and confidential space for sessions and listens to each client with an open mind and open heart. Alyssa is a firm believer that counseling helps individuals to become integrated physically, mentally, and spiritually.
